squash! haha VERY fun! played yesterday at xq's place and today at sch! all the bitch-shots and what-not!
i feel so exercised! it's a nice feeling.. haha but i'm sure to ache all over tmr..

haha pooja and i are quite gd! we can beat alvin tan and weili at doubles squash! but sadly, we lost to xq and ian still..
speaking abt ian and xq, thanx to u and u i got whacked by the squash ball 3 times! twice by ian tan, ur "cross court jian" shots! and once by xq!!!! =/ aiyah! haha but it was fun nonetheless!
haha i can't partner xq in doubles anymore! our team will self-destruct! he'll just laugh laugh laugh and dunno what la, and we'll lose! we'll even lose to weili and alvin tan i bet =P

enough of squash, we had lunch at swenson's hv and ate so so much! main course/pasta, soup, unlimited scoops of ice cream (of i only took one and the half =P ), drink, dessert! wow!

and the last 2 days, i learnt how to play xbox and ps2! ok not that i didn't know already know how to play it, but i just realise again, how fun it is to play xbox and ps2! i played project gotham and halo 2 and dynasty warrior and ddr! halo 2 was super super hard! i just got killed all the time by xq and weili.. sad!

haha my anat grp went to dinesh's hse yest! and our for dinner after that.. he's soo nice lor! =) my anat grp really loves him! haha we went to serene's hse after dinner, and dinesh tried the ddr! soo sporting! =)

and today, my gd friends played a prank on me =( siigh

wow! amazing! tonight's the first night in ages that i actually get to in my room, in front of the com, without having to feel guilty at all!
bah, the stupid retarded CAs have gone.. and now awaits the dreaded first pros!

haha if i pass the exams.. i can:
1) go india
2) learn jazz piano
3) learn a language
4) learn a sport
5) family holiday!!
6) watch tonnes of movies
7) go hk/bangkok to shop
8) go somewhere cheap and exotic like nepal? turkey?

hmm wonder if i'll have the money..

anyway, i ate very very very nice desserts today at Big-O!
7 of us shared 4 desserts! we ate..
1) ALF mudpie (i think it's ALF, can't be AFL.. ahh i dunno!)
2) the Dark Side mudpie.. which is dark choc on a brownie base!!!
3) banana caramel waffle with rum n raisin ice cream(hmm i think i like marche's better! haha maybe i'm just biased! =P )
4) some super chocolate-y cake with vanilla ice cream!! (this was the best!!!!) haha i forgot what it's called.. but it was soo nice! haha

and i spent so much today! ate at sakae.. and ate dessert at big O.. then watched underworld.. ooooo all the money gone! but it was a nice feeling spending the money.. esp on gd things!

ok i suddenly like listing things.. makes me feel gd to see long lists! esp when it's abt gd stuff =) haha

i shall attempt to watch the soccer match between real madrid and arsenal later! go real!! =) haha exciting! yay tmr's going to a fun-filled day i hope!

haha and i also realise i can't stay irritated at a person for long.. so gd for everyone out there!!

went to the med lib to study today.. or rather, tried to study!

haha u know u can never get much studying with mich ard =P haha but she's fun company la! so funny and child-ish!!! mich and xq tog make the most most most child-ish pair ever!
let me state what happened in the lib at 630pm today..
mich found out her water bottle was leaking when she tipped it over.. as a result, her palm had some water in it.. and she decided to flick the water at xq..
who grabbed my bottle from across the table, opened the bottle, filled the cap with water, and proceeded to splash the water at me!!! and then he splashed mich next!
haha and all this while, mich and i were cowering behind my jacket! =/

ok so child-ish! i think mich and xq studied too much already! what queer and strange ppl! one's a glorified monkey, the other's a glorified hedgehog!! reaally strange! haha they were from the same class in rj somemore.. hahaha! so funny! =)

hmm but i shall forgive mich, since she probably was delerious from all the studying she did for the whole afternoon! and was probably stressed that she can't finish studying..
and yikes! mich is going to study with me tmr too!! haha and she plans to join me in future studying sessions! hahaha

1 march - ac's founder's day..

i went back to ac today for founder's day for the award ceremony.. haha it was really fun being back in ac! and seeing everyone dressed so nicely to receive their awards =) quite a few ppl from my class went back! yl anna ks ian kenneth marc pooja yh simian suai sarah sam brandon abi michael megha.. haha wow! that's like more than half the class! so cool! haha it was nice seeing all our teachers again! esp miss pang.. we talked to her for quite a while, and she said that we never grew up after we left ac! haha she's super cute! =)

and we finally got to see megha!! hahaha who we've never seen since the last A-level paper! which was more than a year ago! =P hahaha

anyway, it was a great feeling to be back in somewhere that is still so familiar.. haha i really just love being back in ac! all the teachers are soo friendly! even the principal and vice-principal.. they're really like friends! =) haha they're so down-to-earth that u can just wave hi and bye to them =) haha and the teachers all still rem our class! even teachers who taught us only pe haha..

and at the reception, the eclairs and the chicken wings were really just super super gd! ian yl anna and i ate soo much eclairs! =P

haha oh halfway through the reception, i made an announcement for all the scones to meet at the front of the mic for a photo taking.. and everyone boo-ed at me =( hahaha! i was reaally amused! haha

and ac did well for As this yr! 2 ppl with 9 distinctions! and quite a few with 8 distinctions, and 7 distinctions =) congrats!!
haha but my class record still hasn't been broken =P proud of my class! okok! class party soon!!! haha after all the uni ppl finish their exams.. prob end april or early may..

i've been too lazy to update this blog.. cos firstly there's nothing to write abt! considering that my life is so boring now! =/

i went to sch in t-shirt and shorts today.. first time ever! haha cos it was only pbl.. and nothing else!!

oh went to histo lab today.. and i did so so little! it didn't help that histo's very boring to begin with.. and i don't know anything abt last sem's histo nonsense! but haha at least i now know where and what are osteoclasts, osteoblasts, osteocytes.. and how different osteocytes are from chondroblasts.. and dunno what other nonsense like epiphyseal plate..
ahhh haha and i didn't realise until today that the histo slides are actually numbered according to the boxes.. as in if the box is say box 15, then on the left side of the slides, it says 15 too! ok i know i'm dumb that i didn't realise it before..
and now i regret not paying attention in histo pract! siigh.. i was always rushing to look at the slides, and then running off for lunch.. cos histo's damn sian.. siigh guess i'm paying the price now! oh well..

ok what a boring post! i really can't wait for CAs and exams to end.. then it's the hols! i want to pass my exams! but at this rate, i doubt i can..

started the day with the scone haunted house, unmasked! haha it was better than ours 2 yrs ago! hahaha the guys thought they won't be scared.. but in the end they were! esp ian (who was reaally freaked out by the girl crawling on the ground), kenneth (who kepy cursing cos he was scared i think =P ) and marc (who fell down when a ghost came and scare him!) hahaha! quite hilarious! but the haunted house was gd =) yay! haha

stayed at fun-o-rama the whole day.. eating and walking ard and slacking and buying ac stuff! haha hmm and some ppl were nice enough to give me coupons =) ahhh thank you thank you! haha

oh oh! we paid to dunk dk too! haha but in the end, none of us could aim =( which was reaally sad.. and another guy (not from scone tho) dunked dk.. hahaha! but it was quite funny to see dk getting dunked!

tday was the first time ever i went to study at the anat museum with pooja shah! haha and thankfully pooja was there studying with me.. if not i would have given up and fell asleep very fast! we revised a bit of anat.. haha i felt that we did quite a bit actually.. but on hindsight, it seems quite little! haha but very gd for a start already! =)

yay! the feeling of actually accomplishing some work is quite gd! haha now i know why ppl study so hard! but studying alone's quite sian sometimes.. yay that i have pooja =) haha

siigh the next few weeks of my life will be studying and more studying!
but in 6weeks time, i'll be free!!! (if i pass my exams =/ )

thursday:
a study-free day! played squash in the afternoon with pooja after our tutorial.. and at the squash courts, we met other ppl, and played doubles with ks chris colin.. it was really really fun! and i enjoyed my afternoon of squash.. haha but cos it was raining.. and nus squash courts suck! the roofs actually leak! there was this puddle of water in the court, and i didn't see it and slipped on it! and thanx to the lousy nus squash courts, i now have 2 blue-blacks on my 2 knees.. haha

after that it was to church for small grp.. i thought small grp was really gd that night.. thanx to sharing by gary! it made me think quite a bit..

friday:
it's anat day.. anat lects, anat practs.. and i realise how much i do not know about anat! haha some of us tried to revise thorax and abdomen using the cadavers.. and sadly, we realise we do not know a lot! we forgot tonnes of stuff! haha even the simplest phrenic and vagus nerves.. i now know that phrenic nerve passes in front of the root of the lung.. haha right? hope so!

anyway, had driving after that! i stayed in circuit the whole time.. and it was quite fun haha.. but it was quite horrifying at first! the instructor gave me instructions in chinese! first time ever that i got a chinese-speaking instructor.. i was quite blur at first.. as in i understood what he said la.. but i kind of took a while longer to process the information! haha and my sentences in chinese were so disjointed that i was reaally embarrassed! and to think that i even forgot how to say "tennis" in chinese.. siigh.. now i know it's "wang qiu".. haha oh! back to my point about what i learnt during driving.. i learnt directional change.. and it's fun! hahaha the instructor thinks i learn quite fast.. and he let me try the crank course and s course for fun.. even tho it's not included in the subject i took today.. haha driving's such a stress-reliever.. go to the circuit/road and just signal, turn wheel, overtake, etc etc etc =)

CAs are nearing and nearing and nearing =/

hmm it's weird that one moment you -think- you're quite good friends with someone.. and the next moment, you realise you don't even talk much, and if you do, it's always the superficial hellos, and the occasional study matters.. and there's really nothing you can do about it..

and i realise today that the gossip vine is reaally scary! people just know random stuff about you.. even though you yourself don't go around perpetuating those things about yourself..

oh haha and apparently, people say fish and i are like twins.. how queer! but that's what we heard today..

what a sian-ni-fy-ing day today! =/ realise the darn CAs are like in a month's time.. time is passing too quickly!

i would love to re-live jc life over and over again..

haha had a fun driving session today.. took every opportunity to change lanes, hence my un-boring driving lesson today =)
well, i was behind a silver cab when it suddenly stopped to pick up passengers.. so i decided to be ga-rang and signal right to change to the centre lane.. haha and apparently i cut it very close, too close! according to the instructor.. cos on the way out to the centre lane, i was reaally reaally close to the silver cab! haha even though i probably wouldn't have crashed the car, the instructor was like, "u were very very close, almost going to crash!" =/ oops! hahaha but it was quite exciting! cos i think today i learnt not to give way =) and to just chiong to change lanes.. hahaha! if not u'll just wait forever and not be able to change lanes.. haha how fun! i want to go for more driving..

hmm i feel quite happy now! dunno why! i think the nice driving lesson in the afternoon contributed to this feeling.. and the fact that i can get to watch more grey's anatomy tmr =) haha yay!

ahh it's already feburary! =/ how fast! time is passing too quickly!
