xinquan's 21st birthday..

xq held his birthday party on 19jan07 at the Oasis at Hyatt.. the food was nice! esp the desserts with the vanilla custard sauce! and apparently the mango sorbet and the vanilla ice cream was really really gd! (but i didnt eat them)..

anyway, ian and i went to xq's hse to hang out after sch, and to get ready for the party.. haha ian n i wrapped xq's presents in his room.. including this very very well-wrapped purple present =) which im sure xq enjoyed opening (more on this later on..)

we finally left for Hyatt =) and reached a little after 630pm.. haha but most ppl were not that early anyway..

haha! i finally met Christine (the girl on the right) - xq's friend who has bad hair.. and who is also very ditzy.. and who also talks a lot! and who is also delusional abt her age ;p haha Christine if u read this, a big HELLO to u! ur photo is on my blog =)

anyway, i rememeber that weili was just damn damn mean to zp that night! =P hahaha!


after everyone was very very full, we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY and xq cut his cake! (he forgot to make a wish!!)..

..maybe cos he was rather stressed abt having to make a speech =P it was a short, simple and sincere speech.. bet ur parents were touched! ;p

HAHA! then it was time to open his presents! of cos, we gave him this nicely wrapped purple present first! =)

after tearing through many many many layers of newspaper (wrapped by ian!)..xq finally got to his present.. (note the huge stack of newspaper in front of xq!)

..an EGG! =) haha i must say xq looks terribly happy in this photo! glad u loved the egg.. (more on the egg later..)


yup! this is what ian and i made xq! haha spent many hrs walking ard buying materials and glue-ing and hammering and sticking.. glad it turned out nice =)


xq went on to unwrap more of his presents.. we got him 21 different things! =)

ok, we got him a "damn colourful lizard", thinking that it was a soft toy that he really liked! but oops, it wasnt the right one! =/ haha turns out we got a chameleon instead of a lizard!! what a joke! hahaha!
and the cap that we bought xq made him look like some french clothe designer! haha!

it was the egg that was wrapped in ten thousand layers of newspaper ;p haha!! so yup, the story of the egg ends..in xq's stomach..

on 23jan07 at 12midnight, we appeared at xq's place with a cake and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a very very very shocked xq! ;p who totally didnt suspect anything at all!

on xq's actual birthday, we went Breko's for lunch.. and then Settler's after that =)
