isn't the lyrics just so meaningful and nice? well, this is the vcffoc (varsity christian fellowship, freshmen orientation camp) 2005 theme song.. it's sooo lovely cos it just speaks of how God really loves us, and that we're all deserving of His saving grace!

well, the camp was really great in many many ways.. the theme of the camp was LOVE COMPELS.. it is stated in 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 that "for Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for HIm who died for them and was raised again".

this camp has certainly been a reminder of God's love for all of us, that He was willing to send His son to calvary, so that our sins may be forgiven.. this kind of love, calvary love, is a statement of our faith and a rule for our life, that we ought to have the mind of Christ, and have the kind of calvary love that Christ had in Him..

armed with LOVE in us, it is always better to seek reconciliation rather than revenge in everything that we do.. i guess what striked me most abt the camp was the reminder that i have to show love to the ppl ard me.. even though that person might be someone whom i got irritated with, someone who offended me, i guess following Christ's footsteps, it's better to seek reconciliation that revenge..

sth that struck me in the camp was when rev malcom tan spoke abt the treasure (which is the gospel) in jars of clay (which is us).. we as Christians have the gospel in us, and we as Christian ought to be ministers of truth and be willing to share the gospel to ppl ard us.. if we feel convicted by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel to ppl, we shouldn't procrastinate till later, cos all of us have no idea how long our existence is on earth and neither do we know how long the person we're sharing the gospel to has to live on earth too..

yah i guess those are the things that struck me the most during the camp.. there are certainly other stuff but i'll continue them another day..

actually i'm really thankful for the new friendships that i've made! i think my group gelled tog quite well in the end and it was great being in their presence =) and haha thank u fish for hanging out with me on the last night.. i think u know more abt me now huh? =P
