ive always thought tt the photos in those travel brochures of maldives were majorly photoshooped or editted.. but i think im wrong! haha even with a laupok canon ixus 60, my bro (quite a lousy camera person too ;p ) managed to take such nice photos!
the place looks so tranquil and peaceful.. i wished id gone :/ im *so* super jealous!! :( my stoopid pok bro was too lazy and then my dad n him didnt go snorkel/kayak! so lousy! >:( the water was so super clear!! (a million times nicer than bintan ;p) and it was also 6 times more ex than my bintan trip :p

ive nothing exciting to blog abt.. haha most of the day's been *trying* to study days! went out on fri tho! sch ended earlier cos i decided not to go for sth in the aft =P anyway, went to paragon to look at expensive, unaffordable stuff ;p haha very nice designs tt i really wanna have! but 160 for a denim skirt from A/X is really quite ex =/ so decided tt i shd just save the money n not blow my allowance.. plus, buying a 160 denim skirt wld just be so unamusing to my mum, im quite sure abt tt ;p
then at night, we went mich's hse to eat dinner! cos althea cooked ;p HAHA! althea's mich's maid.. nice food! thanx mich! tho mich invited us to her place cos her family's away and she cld use some company i guess =P HAHA! thanx nonetheless! we watched this really old n comical -horror- show called the frighteners! yes horror.. but it was more laughable than scary! haha i think mich thought it was damn scary cos she watched it in pri4 or pri5 ;p
before dinner, went lana cakes to collect chocolate cake! hmmm i was so unimpressed with their service n attitude. period. but the cake tasted excellent! (it has always been like tt anyway) haha
after tt went to marina sq to walk ard a bit.. im so amazed at myself tt ive managed to resist spending on shopping on fri! cos i spent nothing on shopping =P

went out today again! n in the evening, went to shop abt at centrepoint with who else, my mummy of cos! ;p who was there with an amex card so tt i cld get a 15% discount at robinson's =P bought a pair of sneakers.. tts abt it tho didnt buy anything else.. haha the sneakers wasnt ex =)
my next shopping destination is tangs! to buy a pair of nice slippers! cos my mummy got discount voucher there =) WOO! love my mummy! (not just cos abt shopping la).. but in general la!
haha i tell her quite a bit abt my friends, but shes v funny one! whole day getting confused abt who's who =P haha so i just end up laughing at her ;p but shes getting better, can rem my friends' names a bit! dont have to like "oh tt guy in tt photo u showed me the other day" etc etc ;p haha!

vivocity isnt as impressive as all the hype made it out to be ;p haha! its seriously damn damn huuge! but all most of the brands there can be found in other shopping centres.. its quite like marina square.. oh but there's GAP n nafnaf there =P (not opened yet tho) anyway, getting from one part of the shopping centre to another feels as if ure walking in circles! =/ the layout of the 2nd storey is quite bad.. but the ground level is fine n nice with a very nice n huge empty space in the centre ;p there's godiva there too! n we bought chocolixir! ;p indulgent huh hahaha
as of today, there were only 2 proper food places opened, in the whole biig place! =/ haha n it was so crowded!
*tried* studying at coffee bean.. it was noisy, n one small round table was shared by 4 ppl =/ haha oh well..

went to the dentist today.. after almost 2 yrs i realise =/ oh maann.. haha

BINTAN 27/9 - 29/9 =)

DAY 1

on the ferry to bintan.. mich *just* has to appear in every single photo! n of cos, spoiling most of the photos in the process! =P

we managed to get more decent shots without mich in it ;p

we reached Bintan Lagoon Resort =) haha claire n i checked into our villa.. while fish had to stand there n guard the luggage =/ while the guys went off somewhere! hrmph! ;p

after tt, we went to play paintball! =P haha oh man.. we all look like construction workers! =( boo haha but paintball was quite fun la.. we were so tired after paintball tt we all went back to the villa to shower n change to go for dinner =)

oh apparently claire n i were diva-ish n taking v long upstairs to change.. actually, it was just claire! who had to put so much make-up ;p i was just upstairs accompanying her in case she got eaten up by a mutated moth (more on this later =/ ) or a gigantic cockroach!!! =/

so while we took ages to change, they were photowhoring downstairs.. haha notice tt nick isnt in the photos, guess he just isnt as photowhorish as the rest =P haha

we played time's up! this game.. hahaha its quite funny! cos we played it on the first night as well, where everyone was half-dead! =( n the stuff said was v funny! hahaha

while they went go-karting, claire n i went to the beach! n we got body surfboards hahaha! =P n we bobbed up n down in the big open sea for almost an hr.. super relaxing n nice! ;p

me claire xq nick zp went snorkelling in the aft! haha while fish n dedrick went to kayak.. n lazy lardy mich went for an afternoon nap, followed by a massage!!!! omg! so aunty! =P HAHA! the beach was nice! so quiet and uncrowded!! shd have spent more time at the beach =/

as usual tt night, there was one-for-one drinks! and everyone (except me ;p ) drank again! HAHA!!

went to POO (Pasar Oleh Oleh) tt night for dinner!

HAHA! the drink tt dedrick is drinking is some green bean with milk drink tt mich bought n didnt like =P hahaha but dedrick seems to really enjoy it! hahaha

tts us at dinner! we ate an 8-course (or was it 10? =/ ) dinner! hahaha mich kept complaining tt the food was too spicy.. but looks like she enjoyed her dinner in the end! ;p

later tt night, everyone except mich n fish went to visit the newly opened club in bintan! hahaha =) i had some midori jelly shot! its a v cute n small jelly thing =P taste nice too! =)

we played mahjong!! at like 1am on the last night.. while xq fell asleep on the couch =/

DAY 3

oh! there's fish n i!! hahaha! on the 3rd day, we went to tanjong pinang! for spa! ;p so indulgent we are ;p hahaha! we all enjoyed our spa! =) after the spa, we went to the ferry terminal, and back to spore.. omg! the roads in bintan was so so bad!!! so windly n bumpy! =( but luckily i didnt get car sick =/ eeeps..

finally.. this is the mutated moth/beetle/bat thing tt slept on my pillow on the 2nd night there!! =( then claire n i had to sleep on the couches in the living rm tt night..

haha OH! claire nick n i wanted to wake up to watch sunrise, but the stoopid sun was already up in the sky at like 530 am!!! =( we didnt get to catch it..

anyway, bintan was fun! the company was great! thanx to claire fish mich dedrick xq nick zp who made the trip very enjoyable! =) =) will def rem all the laughs n silly things tt everyone did! =P

almost another week has passed since i last blogged =/ today's a terribly sleepy day for me! i think i walked ard most part of the day half-awake.. n the parts of the day when i was fully awake were when i had caffeine in me =/

OH! yest went ian's hse to eat green tea ice cream tt yl anna n he made.. n i was so appalled to find out tt the ice cream had like 9 egg yolks! o.0 tts damn a lot! n other ingredients in the ice cream were like double cream, tonnes of sugar, milk.. woah! its like shovelling spoons n spoons of fats down ur throat.. BUT the ice cream tasted gd! ;p haha

back from a 3 day trip to bintan! haha from wed to fri =) the trip was, to say the least, FUN! the pace of life in bintan is so slow and relaxing, the staff there were really really friendly n nice, and the beach was so nice!!! =P hahaha more importantly, there was excellent fantabulous company on the trip! ;p we even had some unwelcomed guests, in the form of insect-y things, who came to visit us on both nights! =(
haha i'll blog more abt the trip when i get more photos.. oh i think fish n xq took more photos than me ;p for once, i was un-photowhorish on the trip =)

its saturday! (sept 23 ;p) but its more than a saturday! its the first day of the mid-sem holidays! woohoo! ;p im so happy! finally getting a break from the routine of school and the mad-rush of waking up so early every morning, trying to get to school on time, and feeling so sleepy for the entire day =/
well, no more of that for the next 9 days! =)
yesterday was a happy day - the last day of school before mid-sem break.. haha and of cos, i had to spend a lot of money (again!) =( even tho i told myself not to buy anything, i ended up shopping and buying stuff! i think i spent all my allowance for this month already! =/ and need to spend a lot more money in the next week or sth.. oh no =/ i usually dont spend more than my monthly allowance! shites whats happening =/
what happened to eating cheaper food during school days? i really really wonder.....

mid-sem break is coming! woohoo! i cant wait for fri to come! the past few days have been a mad rush to -try- to complete tutorials on time.. but of cos, have been failing miserably =( ive 6 tutorials this week! sounds crazy! =/ but im really looking forward to next week! a week of no sch, no lects, no tutorials! =) yayy!
i realise tt when i was in jc, i used to like staying in sch to study.. but nowadays, staying in sch (or simply just going to sch) seems such a chore.. i'll leave sch the minute lect or tutorial or whatever ends! and rot my afternoon away..

have been watching miao shou ren xin.. and i know its just a tv show.. but some of the doctors are so self-sacrificing! such an inspiration.. haha i wonder if i'll be as gd a doctor as them in the show =) operations seem to diff to do!

tolerance. autoimmunity. whatever nonsense. im trying to do my tut now.. its 1220am! i foresee yet another uncompleted tut.. its amazing tt i can survive on such little amt of sleep =/

ended school really early on fri at 1030am! =) some of us went to partyworld at orchard to ktv =) hahaha it was quite fun cos i knew the tune of most of the songs! ian went too n he got hooked onto a few chi songs =P haha! how funny!

at night, met up with some classmates n we went to sun and moon at wheelock for dinner to celebrate anna choo's birthday! =P haha the food there was nice! most of us ate the claypot rice thing.. haha but anna was so lazy! she was complaining that shes v tired having to scoop out the rice from a pot into her bowl.. tsktsk ;p n i had a nice dessert! it was some Mochi Crepe thing haha.. the ice cream there tho, is really milky, and yl n anna both disliked their ice creams =/

on sat, went out with fish n diane to watch akeelah and the bee! haha the show is very nice n touching! =) haha the innocent friendship between 2 young kids taking part in the spelling bee competition was so sweet.. and what an amazing and noble thing akeelah did at the spelling bee competition such tt another guy cld be co-champions w her =) ahh what a sweeet show! i really liked it..
tt night, went trifac.. haha it was damn damn funny cos mich drank so so so much! and she got high =P hahaha! she lept stomping on my poor toes.. and she cldnt stand by herself la ;p had to keep holding her on the dance floor =) hahaha! so funny! =P and mich kept telling hs "u stole half my drink!!!" and kept going on and on abt how the midori sour was damn damn nice.. she was high! =P haha after we left Gotham Penthouse, we went newton for supper.. and i got home at like 3+ am ;p




on sun, went to celebrate sr's bday.. we ate at ps foodcourt =/ dunno why also.. anyway, after tt we went coffee club and ordered cakes n drinks.. haha sr treated them! but i didnt order anything cos my stomach was too full liao boo =(



oh we bought venezia ice cream for sr, and put candles on top of it for him to blow =)

oh school holidays are coming! in abt 20days time.. YAY YAY YAY!! =) cant wait! im so tired of sch.. so much stuff to read up on.. but im obviously not doing anything abt it =/ i need a break badly.. today is just monday, n i feel as if it was a wed or thurs.. so sleepy =( im so glad tmr is gonna be a slack day ;p haha

hmm i feel as if everyday is such a routine.. wake up, go sch, go for lunch, go home, watch tv, read notes if i feel up to it, sleep, wake up.. and the whole routine starts again =/ im so tired! by the time its sat, i dont even feel like leaving my hse haha.. so retarded..

other than the boring-ness and mundane-ness of sch, im leading a rather slack-ish life.. haha im in a i-dont-wanna-study mood these few days =) ahh well.. stoopid sch n all the lects! we had a super dry n sleep-inducing lect on neurotransmitters today! but he wasnt the worst lecturer we had so far! there's the stoopid patho lecturer, raju dunno what.. lectured on inflammation.. his notes are so freaking tiny i cant even see anything =/ so i dont even use the notes.. so shites one! and i cldnt understand him at all =/ eeeps.. whatever..
but lectures are of cos bearable with nice ppl ard ;p

hahaha! n mich is crazy! she's obsessed with cars! btw, there's this pink sports car in the science carpark.. its a nissan silvia (according to mich!) who was so smug abt the fact tt she knew what tt car was, cos she says NO ONE knows what model tt car is ;p haha stoopid poksai mich!
