let me continue my story on the Great Singapore Sale!
cos its GSS (ok ive resorted to typing 3 letters, instead of spelling out the full title), a lot of shopping centres have nonsense stuff like "spend $50 a win up to $2500 worth of shopping vouchers" etc etc =P
haha so i was at novena square yest.. and mich came to meet me.. there was this promotion with mastercard that if u spent $50 or more, u get to kick this soccer ball! (ok sounds dumb!) but, if u managed to kick above 20km/h, u win some world cup jersey thing to put up in ur car.. haha so mich n i went to try! but poor us! we were wearing slippers! and kicking the soccer ball proved much more difficult than what we had expected! =/ haha erps! but the guy manning the store there was very nice! haha i think he saw 2 helpless girls unable to kick a soccer ball properly and decided to be nice and helped us kicked! (since he was wearing sports shoes!) =P and ha! i got the world cup jersey car thing! shall go put it up in my dad's car =)
and i bought more stuffs yest!! another pair of slippers! (yes, another!) but its a sports sandal-ish kind, a bit boyish and comfortable! haha but it looks like imitation havannas (tho it has a proper brand that ive never heard of!) =P and i finally bought a new jacket! haha a green jacket with green, white and orange stripped collar =) woohoo!
wow! desperate housewives is actually very addictive too! =P yay!

wow! this is my 201st post! haha! ive been blogging so much! =P
anyway, went raffles city today, and i realised ive been to a lot a lot of shops during this great spore sale already! (and great singapore sale has just started only!) erps! im running out of shops and places to visit! haha i think i must go like white sands, jurong point, and other ulu places to shop liao! =P haha oh no! im turning in a shopaholic!
i want to go shopping next week too! aiyah! so many ppl are going to be out of the country!! =P im going to be very free and bored!
im quite a gd shopper! haha i usually buy stuff thats on discount! (esp since its the great spore sale now).. haha and i refuse to use the letters "GSS", id rather spell out GREAT SINGAPORE SALE!! =P
played mahjong and hotels (that ancient game =P ) today! haha was so tired after that!

michelle's birthday is coming soon! everyone go wish her HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! =P must wish her before next thurs! =P (even tho her birthday is actually after next thurs!) haha! michelle is going to be so embarrassed that im announcing her birthday here! =P yes ure going to get a present la michelle! dont be paranoid! if not we really dont give u anything!! =P haha!

ive finished watching greys anatomy! now theres nothing else to watch! oh man, the last few episodes of greys anat is so so sad! i cried!! =/ but the episodes were so nice to watch! i cant wait for season3! the ending's quite unexpected! ahh so sad!! urgh! =( and alex is really quite nice in the end! poor danny and izzy =(

oh before i forget, i went on another shopping spree today! went marina sq with fish and i bought quite a few things! haha like 1 jeans, 1 top, 3 slippers (!!) yes, 3!! 0_o everything i bought today was on discount! so i was happy! happy!
a great day i had today! shopping and greys anat! (pity that ive run out of greys anat to watch!) i want more shows to watch..
someone lend me more House! im stuck at season 2 episode 20 (i think!) cos i dont have anymore after that!

thursday:
went shopping with ian n xq! haha and what a wasted day it was! i only bought a handphone screen protector from kenrick's mum's shop at lucky plaza! and so did xq.. haha but at least ian bought a belt from topman =P anyway, we wanted to go paragon but it was raining so heavily! =/ then when it stopped raining, it was time for us to leave! siigh terrible rainy day! haha
went to watch over the hedge with my mum and bro! =) it was an ok-ish show only la..
and i didnt buy anything!!!! =( [except a hp screen protector la] haha

friday:
went for driving lesson! fun lesson! haha the instructor was so funny..
but the highlight of the day was shopping in town! =P u wouldnt believe what happened!!!! hahahaha i was at centrepoint with mich n her mum! and we took part in this contest! centrepoint paid us to shop at watson's! =P hahaha! we had one minute to shop at watson's, and the person who "bought" stuff closest to $200 bucks will win some luggage bag! haha but all 3 of us who took part in the contest gets to keep the stuff we "bought" up to a maximum of $200! =P hahaha so fun! i was so nervous and stressed before it was my turn.. but it was so fun! haha i "bought" so many hair products (dunno whether useful or not!), brand's essence of chicken, merci chocs, lip gloss, foundation, hair dye etc etc =P i forgot what i "bought" liao.. haha and i realise $200 is super little!!!! =P shd have bought more useful stuff! i realised i "bought" a lot of nonsense! haha but well, it's $200 worth of free products anyway!

OH! robinson's advertised wrongly in the newspaper! (think it's urban!).. the seamless tshirt bra that they advertised 2 for $39.90 is nonsense!!!! =/ they advertised the wrong bra!! =/ haha i went to robinson's for nothing! (oh but if not for that robinson's ad, we wouldnt have ended up at centrepoint, and we wouldnt have taken part in that shop-like-mad-at-watsons contest =P )

bought some clothes today as well!!! =) what a fruitful day today was!!

bad service!! everywhere has bad bad service!! its cos of stoopid great singapore sale! =P (okok not stoopid, since im looking forward to getting discounts!) but i think that service shdnt be sub-standard just cos its great singapore sale!
i had terrible service at the giodarno outlet at suntec! the 2 cashiers were so rude to me! talked to me in such a loud voice (almost like a teacher disciplining a student, according to mich!) and i bought a belt from there, and the cashier totally didnt fold the belt properly! she just anyhow chucked the belt into the bag, till mich had to tell her to wind the belt properly! (and of cos, she did it very unwillingly!)
whatever! stoopid service!! (recently, ive been having extremely bad service!) the delifrance at taka has very bad service too! the food takes ages and ages to come! pepper lunch at taka has terrible service too! theres this extremely unreasonable guy called tony there! and and cedele at wheelock has slow, inefficient and illiterate waitresses/waiters! =/ bah! haha bad service galore! (and i didnt go to these places during great spore sale! which hasnt started yet btw!)

anyway, enough of bad service! =P went settlers with fish dedrick ian ks today (again!) haha and we played this new game called puerto rico! haha its quite nice!! haha and of cos, we played dedricks favourite game, betrayal!!! =) was so tired after that!

then we went to town to watch xmen3! we took dedricks car to cine, and on the way there, ian was HIGH! really really high! kept playing with this gatsby-paper fan in dedricks car, and kept saying things like "woww!! taka has sale!! i didnt know theres a new starbucks here!!" =P anyway, according to mich, xmen3 didnt really follow the comic book! and she was complaining and complaining after the movie! (i had to shut my ears!! =P ) haha and yes, the show was ok! nice special effects! and iceman, cyclops (too bad he died to early!!) and storm are damn cool! haha and kitty is so cute! =P haha i actually think that the few parts where they tried to make the show funny wasnt very gd! its different from xmen1 and xmen2 (which i later found out is cos xmen3 has a different producer [or director??] as xmen1 and 2).. i jumped in my seat a few times! =/ haha

after the movie ended, we decided to go esplanade cos we wanted to eat haagen dazs! (and we didnt go hv cos its so far away from my hse! partly also cos ian doesnt want to see the staff there =P ) but sadly, to our dismay, the haagen dazs closes at 1030 pm!!! =( we then went glutton square to eat! haha i drank a milo dinosuar! it costs $2.50 but i saw my whole glass of milo dinosaur had like 7 heaps of milo!!! hahaha so thick n nice! =P after that, on the way back to the car, dedrick and ian went insane!!!!! they entertained themselves with an umbrella! (its a mickey mouse umbrella! =P ) [read on for bad photos of ian and dedrick!!]

anyway, something very hilarious happened today! haha the parking at cine is $3 per entry after 5pm! so xq thought "very gd! i shall park there" (ok thats not really the reason why, but to cut a long story short, he made a wrong turn somewhere, and ended up parking at cine).. but he thinks to himself, "$3 dollars for a few hrs, can la! not that ex!" =P hahaha BUT, on the way out, when we inserted the cashcard into the machine, it said $5!!!! =/ we were all very shocked! cos we really thought it was $3! hahaha BUT (yes, story hasnt ended yet!) we saw the time xq went into the carpark at cine.. and guess what?? it said 4.59pm!!!!!!! 0_o all of us just laughed laughed laughed at him! poor u!!! =P

but yes, im supposed to blog here that XQ's DRIVING HAS IMPROVED!!!!! =P (better make the words coloured so more ppl can see it!) yes, ok, in fact, its better! a lot a lot better than it was last week! =P no more myocardial infarction sitting his car! haha on the straight roads, hes very confident and he hates to drive slowly! (which is gd!!) haha.. i promised not to say bad things here! =) but no la, there isnt any bad things to say abt his driving today! haha i got home safely!! =) carry on improving xq!! and be as gd as mich!!! =P

after a whole week of pdcp, i dont know if i learnt anything useful abt communications and such, but i sure found out that my writing skills have deterioated! i cant write proper long sentences anymore! =/ cos on fri we had to write some essay for the pdcp exam.. haha and after i wrote 2 essays, i didnt even dare to re-read my essay for fear that i'll be utterly disgusted at what i wrote! =/ haha it was really quite bad! i had points to write, but i think i wrote it very badly! even my gp essays were better (i think)..

anyway, on sunday, i drove my dad's car at the carpark at my great-grandma's house! haha and as fish nicely puts it, it was an "illegal cheap thrill" =P haha but i tried to park! quite decent for someone who hasnt even 1) taken the final theory test 2) finished her driving lessons or 3) passed her driving test for that matter! =P haha more incentive to go to my great-grandma's house to visit her now =P okok, thats not the point, but well, i cant wait to pass my driving! but sadly, i have no test date yet! =( im being lazy as usual.. i hope i pass on my first try!!! then ppl will stop laughing at me!! haha always say im "sooooo sloowwwwwww"..

went shopping with mich on mon!! haha and i bought 2 tops and 1 belt (all at discount!!) haha i felt so happy buying those stuff! shopping ard and buying stuff really really rocks! haha and i bought a new phone too on monday =P i was very happy that day! haha ok im so materialistic =P whatever.. i was so intrigued by my phone (and the weird functions of my phone) that i stayed up till 3am trying to upload songs and pictures and whatever into my phone =) haha the speakers on the phone are very decent! and i like this function called "my active standby" (where u can display ur calender, notes, shortcuts etc on the phone when ur phone is in standby mode).. but i like the sms on my previous phone better! and the camera on the phone is not that good as mich's (which has auto-focus!) haha ok but all in all, im rather pleased with my phone! considering that i didnt pay a lot for the phone =) yay!

haha went for dinner at chomp chomp today with some ppl from my anat grp =) we ordered like fried carrot cake, sambal stingray, satay, char kway teow, orh-lua (i dunno how to spell this!), sugar cane, desserts! haha felt so so full after that! =P

this week has got to be the most most horrendous week for me since the start of yr1 of sch last yr.. never have i felt so cheated! it was the most unfair most one-sided decision ive ever seen made! "attempt" to ask students for their opinions was just for show! wow! made us feel so impt that at least we get to voice our opinions.. but well, this MAN is nothing but condescending n v v v anal! of cos hes going to hear what we have to say! of cos he'll think that play is impt! oh wow! actually.. hes just the exact opposite!!

watched Paradise Now!
haha its quite a nice show! its abt 2 Palestinian, childhood friends (Khaled n Said) who were recruited to be suicide bombers in Tel Aviv.. the plot is simple, but the story touches on the thoughts of these 2 main characters.. Khaled who changed his mind abt bombing Tel Aviv after realising that under such a operation (i think it was the Israeli operation?), he is already dead, and doesnt need to become a suicide bomber because, what difference wld that make? but Said, who seemed to be apprehensive abt the whole bombing issue, becomes resigned to fate n God's will in the end, n sticks to the cause till the end as a matyr (probably also to redeem his family some pride after his dad was found to be a collaborator with the Israeli side n was killed)..

watched L`enfant (The Child) as well! haha i didnt think that the show was boring.. but nothing that exciting abt it either.. the show's basically abt this very poor young couple (Bruno n Sonia), they had a baby called Jimmy.. the guy sold the baby away for money, but his girlfriend was v v v angry! and refused to talk to him! so he went to get his baby back.. but after getting the baby back, he realised that he owes the ppl 5000euros! so he went to steal again.. this time, he got caught (kind of) and the story ended with the girlfriend visiting him in prison..
thats just the outline of the story, i dont think i did justice to it at all! but through the 100mins of show, the character Bruno matured a lot! its quite amazing film cos i think the actors/actresses acted really well!

both paradise now and l`enfant had abrupt endings! =(

anyway, went to Citylink today cos mich wanted to buy the liquid Godiva! haha Chocolixir! =P it was not too bad! 8bucks for a cup of liquid Godiva tho.. haha fish n i were just being boliao n posing with mich's "piece of heaven" =P



then i met yl n we ate at Billy Bombers! marche at heeren is closed! =( so sad! haha but nvm, it was still v fun meeting up w yl n having a nice dinner! =)

haha and i have been seeing quite a few ppl ard town these 2 days.. think the whole world is out playing! (saw ningyan n he just completed some da vinci code amazing race thing! n won a goodie bag thats worth $1300!!!)

but sadly, i cant keep playing =(
