yay! im getting a new camera on tue (i hope!) haha can go back to taking pictues n being a photo whore =P ok i shant.. but yay! ive been camera-less since like Feb, when my bro dropped the camera with the lens out! at least, after all this long waiting, ive got myself a pretty decent camera (ok not me, my mum paid for me =P YAY!!) its Canon Ixus 60.. haha 6 megapixels! can see all the pimples =P hmm no la, but i think it looks not bad! nice simple design.. but the reason i got a Canon again, is cos i like Canon! =) like how im going to get a Nokia phone next time (again) cos i simply just like Nokia..

watched noriko's dinner table today (it's a spore film fest show)
and the show was quite disturbing.. i never knew there was such a thing as a "suicide club" or a "family rental" thing in japan..
it was disturbing cos as the story unfolds, u get to see how scary and unfeeling kumiko (this character in the show) is.. she was abandoned in a locker at a train station.. and from then on, she never believed in a genuine family.. it's quite sad cos all throughout life, kumiko goes on to think that everyone is "role-playing", even to the point of telling this woman that she didnt act convincingly enough when the woman claimed to be kumiko's mother, tho kumiko actually shed tears..
the story shows how happiness can be created, even tho its fake n unreal.. when lonely ppl actually hire a few ppl from the "family rental" company to pretend to be their family.. so that they can enjoy the company of family members..
also, the girls in the show create new identities for themselves when they're not happy with their own/old identity.. completely fake! like how yuka became yoko and then became nameless..
what's v disturbing is that fact that kumiko tells the girls that it's ok to die, as long as ure dying as someone else (ie in a new identity)..
there was this scene where they showed 54 high school girls jumping down onto the train track just before a train drove past! blood splattered everywhere! =/ scary scene!
imagine if that was real.. i dunno.. just v scary to think that there are ppl like that in japan..

haha dont think the summary sounds v disturbing.. but trust me, the film was =/ n it didnt help that the show was almost 3 hrs long! cld have been a bit shorter..

went settlers today again! haha it seems as if i cant get enough of settlers huh =/ but anyway, played shadows over camelot again! haha mich was the traitor =P n the loyal knights lost again! ahh i must play till the gd guys win!! =P hahaha so far ive played twice, n twice the bad guys have won =( so sad.. maybe next time i'll become the traitor =P haha!

we played more halli galli! WAH! mich is the pro la! =P NOBODY can beat her!! haha
then there's this new Jungle Speed game.. quite fun also =) haha

the rest of the day was just slacking n more slacking! haha n i had driving in the morn =/ sian irritating instructor who kept telling me to "feel" the car! =/ urgh! i cant even drive properly, ask me to "feel" the car n not to keep looking at the road directly in front of me when i do the 'S' course n Crank course.. bleah.. ok maybe i shdnt, but erps, i was scared i wld strike the kerb what =/

and i realise that computers and i dont get along well! =/ like how i thought my whole keyboard spoilt one day! had to call my bro to save me cos i thought my laptop died on me! =/ in the end, it was cos i accidentally pressed the "Num Lk" button n my keyboard on my laptop became strange! haha then another time, i thought my speakers died!!! so i was like "huhh i shall go buy a new one tmr la".. later on i saw that my laptop had no more power left!! n i thought sth was very wrong! hahaha then i realised that actually, i didnt switch on the main plug, so no electricity to the speakers n laptop =/

haha i rebonded my hair again.. but my hair's in a VERY bad state =( it's v dry! bleaah! i want oil-ier hair! (for now at least! =/ ) it's in such a terrible state that it looks as if i didnt rebond my hair at all =/ yes, it's that terrible n im so sad! =( oh well.. cos i went to colour my hair last week.. too many things thats damaging my hair (which wasnt all that nice to begin w!)..

oh watched Sentinel yest! it's a lot a lot better than History of Violence and Hostel.. n i watched it on the Big Screen this time ard! so it was rather enjoyable.. suspenseful! tho the plot was rather predictable.. at least i didnt fall asleep =P which i do quite often in boring shows.. haha and i cldnt really tell the diff b/w 2 of the main actors (who really do look quite alike!!! =/ )

haha i watched Match Point too! but that was on dvd.. n the quality was quite bad =( but i thought the plot was quite alright.. a bit disturbing if u think abt it.. haha but i like how the show started n ended.. tied in v nicely! =) at the start of the show, it showed a tennis ball hitting the net.. and it goes on to say that the tennis ball can go 2 ways (either across the net to the opponents side, or back to ur side of the court).. "forward, u win".. "backward, u lose" =) the main character (Chris) thinks that luck plays a huge part in everyones life.. haha and all these came tog v nicely at the end of the show =) haha it's not really a feel-gd show! come to think abt it, it's quite disturbing eh? =P hahaha! that Chris will resort to doing such a thing.. shall not spoil it for anyone who still wants to watch that show (tho it's not showing in the cinemas anymore)

3) learnt 3 new games

Halli Galli is a game that tests ur reflexes, and of cos, ur ability to count.. (up to 5!!) haha it's like snap in pri sch.. except u open cards with fruits on them, and if a certain kind of fruit on the cards add up to 5, u hit the bell in the centre, and u win all the cards.. it sounds retarded, but it's quite entertaining! =) haha girls are supposed to be better at it!! =P

4) watched 2 movies in a single day.. one was quite ok, the other which totally sucked! =/
i thought History of Violence was quite ok what! haha but Hostel was BAD BAD BAD!!! full of gorriness n sex! wonder why it hit number 1 in the US box office.. it's not a horror show as they claim to be! it's just full of blood! and here's sth that i read on imdb.. "Over 150 gallons of blood were used in the making of the movie"!!! siao!! =/


5) played monopoly again after ages! haha im quite gd at it! cos i had house on Mayfair and Parklane =) so everyone kept paying me a lot a lot! =P but they all claimed i won only cos i was lucky! chey! lousy ppl who dont admit defeat =P hahaha but yah la, i was really quite lucky throughout the whole game.. like i'll land on community chest and chance a lot, and avoid landing on ppl's property =P haha!

physio viva's over! hmm i dunno what to think.. i absolutely have no idea how i did =/ oh well.. i can only pray n hope for the best! but im not keeping my expectations too high i guess.. heh
and went to noblehouse for buffet dinner! wow! so so so full! haha i hadnt eaten a buffet in ages, n ive forgotten the feeling of being FULL! =P well, after dinner, mich n i walked from tanjong pagar all the way to clarke quay cos we were too full! while the annalisa angeline n whitney went off.. haha mich says she's not going to eat another buffet in the next 3 months! so so full! but quite ex also! =P haha oh i want to try the reverse bungey at clarke quay! adrenaline rush! =P tho im v v v sure i'll be screaming like a mad pig!

i think the superband on channel u has kind of lost its novelty.. alright, for me at least.. im quite amazed that some ppl wld spend so so so much money (hundreds to thousands!!) to actually call in so that the band they support will make it through to the next round..
they're just giving money away like that! pls, give those money to me!!
i used to watch campus superstar occassionally, thought it was quite interesting to see talented young ppl sing!
but the excessive calling this time ard to support a certain band in superband has really really put me off.. alright, i know im in no position to condemn those ppl (it's not my money and thus none of my concern), but it really really erks me!!
so, a band that makes to the final, doesnt necessarily have to be talented.. they just have to be rich.. hmm!
ok im not saying that this doesnt happen also in campus superstar or whatever other super-things.. im just saying that i didnt expect some ppl to be so obsessed abt a certain band getting in that they're willing to splurge like nobody's business.. for this reason, ive not made a single call or sent a single sms to support that band..

haha anyway, that sounded v bitchy! oh well.. im getting a headache from being cooped up in the house for the last few days trying to rem physio physio physio =/ vasodilation, cardiac output, renin-angiotensin, pneumonia, bilirubin! i need to go out of the house soon!!!

haha arrogant doctor.. but i really like him! =) i like the way he handles the cases.. the way he's so confident of himself.. even if he's wrong, he can find solutions..
but nah, i dont think i'll become like him one bit next time =P

but house is rather predictable.. dont u think so? it's the same std stuff throughout the whole 45mins.. patient comes him with symptomes, they do diagnostic trials, treat the patient with whatever they -think- the patient is suffering from, if it's wrong then save the patient.. in the end, they come up with a right diagnosis and the patient is saved! haha but the cases are interesting i guess.. i realise sth too, ive watched the first 7 or 8 episodes, and in almost all the episodes, the patients will have seizures! are seizures really that common? =/

grey's anatomy is so drama-mama! haha so much more exciting to follow! i always cant stop watching grey's anatomy.. cos there's a story developing around the lives of the doctors.. like the lives of meredith grey and mcDreamy, which are exciting!!! =P house has, but v slight only..

i need more grey's anatomy soon! haha but till then, ive got the eccentric dr house for company =)
