so many changes.. people, places, situations.. i really wish that sometimes i could re-live some parts of the past.. the happy times, the fun times with friends, the meaningful times with family.. anything! sometimes i wish that people wont change so much..
anyway, another change is gonna happen soon again, and more time is needed to get settled into a whole new huge bustling environment.. might not be a bad thing! since sometimes i do actually welcome changes.. just depends on what..
i guess certain changes are good.. but as i went back to an all familiar place for the last time today, and met again with really really nice helpful people.. i wonder when i'll ever see them again..

haha this is a rather proud moment! can you believe that im still up? and im reading my textbook! (ok, i -was- reading my textbook till i decided to slack for a bit).. the last time i stayed up this late to study (and mind you, its only 1235am now) was prob for pros in m2.. thats all.. after that its been sleeping early and earlier.. or out playing till late.. HA! i hope this last minute studying will actually pay-off.. just realised that im some slack shit today after talking to a friend over the phone, and in horror, realising that i havent seen so many cases/conditions! hmmm.. *crosses fingers* *prays* hoping to pass! hoping that the past 8 weeks wont go to waste.. haha i hope random things i hear during ward rounds come out for mcqs tmr! (then at least waking up at an unearthly hour and going hospital early will actually pay off) haha but lets see how =)

im in a rather good mood now.. albeit feeling scared just now =/ just 2 more days!

i cant think of any other stuffs to blog about cos the things on my mind now are mcqs mcqs mcqs and long case short case.. i was just talking to someone the other day, and we both realise that 8 weeks have gone by quite fast.. dont think we learnt as much as we're supposed to in these 8 weeks =( too late for regrets! just hope that all goes well for the mcqs and long and short cases..

anyway, public holiday today was great! didnt have to wake up early to go to changi.. which is becoming quite a chore! haha but it turned out that i still went to the east today again! for Brandon's farewell party.. hmm i cant seem to get rid of the changi area =P

i kinda have many things on my mind these days.. haha dont blame me for looking tired, cos i definitely am physically tired! and its been amounting to no studying cos i just fall asleep so easily.. i dunno how im supposed to study so much in the next one week for the mcqs and end of posting test.. failing seems quite a possible thing.. but i shall try not to go there at all.. think everyone knows more than me.. like seriously =/

depressing post this one is turning out to be.. oh well! the weekend is here.. (almost!)

oh right.. just wanna thank everyone who came for my birthday party dinner =) really appreciate you all for being there! everyone of you came into life at some point in time and i really enjoy the relationships that i have with each one of you! it means alot to me to have you as a friend =) hard to express everything in words, so yup, just wanna say a huge thank you once again!!

haha an interesting night.. amazing im still awake =) the things that keep me up till this late - (def not school work or studying).. ah, shant elaborate further.. sleepy sleepy.. its another day in the wards tmr.. OH! today the consultant asked me today if im learning anything during ward rounds.. haha! grrr i very much wanted to say NO! =P but before i could answer her, she said something like how she feels very bad for making us waste time cos we're not learning much.. ah-HA! there you go! please please no more ward rounds! its good if the cases are interesting, if the registrars or assoc-consultants are nice.. but if not.. then.............
OMG! i can heard myself wheeze.. some expiratory sound! =( =( =( quite low-pitched tho.. not high-pitched.. ok.. its probably just time to sleep..

anyway, it was nice chatting with you babe! haha alright, not really a "babe" per se, but nvm ;p can pass off if i imagine hard enough la!

ALONE is nice! haha the plot is nothing great, but it was really quite scary!! ask darius who was cowering behind yl's jacket with me ;p or ian who actually also screamed a few times!! or ben, who according to anna, made low gruntled "AH"s (his version of a "scream" i suppose!).. haha omg it was actually quite fun watching it! i bet everyone else in the theatre thought we were crazy though, cos we kept screaming and laughing.. great company!! =) haha it was such an adrenaline rush affair!
went to arena again! but this time the lead singer was just so terrible! his voice was so nasal! (i swear its worse than the last time i went =/ ).. and his playing of air-guitar and air-drums is just so urghh!!

anyway, aside from a rather nice-ish friday, another boring week has just flown by again.. weeks are creeping by too fast, its scary.. and the end of posting med test is coming soon!! ooopsss =/ i need to study! haha

well well well, i dunno.. why some things always end up that way.. and its not really my fault i think.. anyway, may i have an enjoyable afternoon and night!!

what a lazy saturday evening.. im sprawled on the bed in the aircon room watching tv and using my laptop..
i published a really short 2 liner post in the afternoon, but decided to remove that and replace it with this happier sounding post =)
we had fish's birthday party last night.. (i'll put photos later when im feeling less lazy).. anyway, i kind of enjoyed myself, somehow.. talking nonsense to various people and laughing hard with everyone else throughout the whole night.. did feel my voice go a bit hoarse after the party ended tho..
i'll elaborate more abt fish's party when the photos are up.. but Happy 21st Birthday Fish!! thanx for being such a great friend! and for being one of the few persons who still call me "pok".. haha miss you tonnes now that i dont see you so often anymore!

i dont feel like typing anymore things, tho there are many random, disjointed thoughts in my head.. some too personal to even be on this blog.. but at this very moment, im thinking that i dont want the next week to start again cos i dont want to have to go to sch/hosp.. yup..

the holidays have gone by (in a flash!!) and the new medicine posting has started.. i came back from new york on saturday, and within 2 days, im back studying again! it certainly felt as if i did not have a holiday at all.. new york was rather enjoyable! all the visiting of museums and tourist attractions (MoMA, Met, Empire State building, the "bitch" etcetc), walking and shopping around Fifth Avenue and Broadway and SoHo, long stroll in Central Park, eating nice and exotic food, cheap milk tea, the Lion King, Six Flags, cards at night, all the laughters and crazy songs and jokes...etcetc.....and not forgetting.. Sephora! ;p thanx for such a great trip guys! somehow thinking back about the whole trip is kind of making me miss the company and the city alot! before i get all too emo and all (haha!), i shall stop and say that im glad we all went new york together.. thanx again! =) i'll miss you guys! haha

anyway, im posted to cgh (changi general hospital) for this medicine posting.. and haha, its only been 3 days of school, and i've kind of been able to be late for 2 out of 3 days =/ haha but its not so bad cos im not -that- late.. just a bit.. but traffic is terrible! tsk to the tpe! its getting too crowded! haha.. i cant decide if i like csfc or this med posting better.. maybe its too early now for me to make a decision (since med posting only started on monday).. i dunno.. i guess there really are many many pros and cons for this posting at cgh and the previous csfc posting at ttsh.. i should just give myself time to adjust and adapt again.. with a change of environment and change of cg (not that its a bad thing, really, its not!), lets see how things go in the near future =)

hello from new york!! =)
ive been in new york for 4 days, and its been great! walked around times square, union square, broadway etc on the first day, and we visited the American Museum of Natural History on the second day which was really nice especially the Cosmic Collision show! the third day (saturday) was shopping at Woodbury Common! where i spent quite a lot =/ haha scary come to think of it! and today, we had a nice nice brunch at thie French place, and then walked for hours at Central Park! =) haha i finally had nice milk tea today from this bakery place in Chinatown!!!! =) happy happy! we had nice dinner and relatively cheap dinner too!
