i have a lot of things to blog about! maybe i'll break it up into 2 or 3 entries..

lets start with ktv! haha went ktv with hs ian xq yihan zp sometime back (it was 11jan)..

after ktv, we went to the village (or whatever it is called now) at heeren for pooja's surprise birthday dinner!! haha pooja was rather upset cos claire and i were both not free in the afternoon to hang out with her.. cos at that time, she didnt know we were gonna have a surprise birthday dinner for her! haha! so when she went to the village (initially only expecting me and claire and yuehan to be there), she was greeted with many many ppl! haha hope u had a great surprise pooja! ;p
dinner was just more photowhoring! =P

microb ca ended yesterday.. its a short few days break before more studying needs to be done =(

watched blood diamonds yest =) it was a a very well filmed show! and leonardo dicaprio put up a very gd performance.. i thought the show was rather sad throughout (for various reasons).. the many unrests in africa, the training of young boys to become killers, the sheer number of refugees, the development of a friendships between unlikely ppl and how they ended up helping each other (albeit each having their own intentions).. a sad ending.. but an exciting, and i must say a bit violent ( ;p ), show that i really enojoyed! =)

after that, walked around orchard! tried clothes.. bought a cheap top! =) had dinner.. nice company for an after-ca relaxing afternoon and evening =)

studying has been boring! and ive been forgetting too many things! haha but a big thank you to ian n xq for providing tonnes of entertainment! spurting out random stuff on mercury droplets, wrinkled colonies", "swarming", attempting to whoop-cough, "macrophages", "saprophyticus agalactiae", BV, dysentry, fishy odour..etc..etc..etc.. =)

on Christmas day, went for church service in the morn, and after that, we had lunch at thai express..

the next day was Christmas dinner at ian's! haha we had soo much nice food to eat! hs making a pizza!! ;p hahaha! and xq beat the egg white for the eggnog till he turned soo soo red!

dec31! the last day of 2006! the year has drawn to a closure..
went to church in the morn, and it was a pretty gd time of worship and sermon.. somewhere during the service i reflected upon my relationship with God during the past year, it was far from gd =/ i blamed God for many things that i did not want happen, but it happened in the end.. and yet, did not thank Him for the many blessings He's given.. somehow, i got reminded again to surrender everything into His hands..

after a meaningful service, we went for lunch and crystal jade!

at night, i went to catch the fireworks at esplanade with xq weili zp nick yihan! =) we ended up at one fullerton, under a huge starbucks umbrella, and the view of the fireworks from there was excellent!! we had nothing in front of us to block our view =) haha we had to wait a while before the fireworks started, and of cos, it wasnt boring at all cos we were photowhoring and zp was digging his own grave ;p some photos of the fireworks..

hmm its been a fun-ish past many days for me! haha ive been to town virtually everyday! (except today ;p ) hmm watch movies (many!! haha), shop (too much for my own good!), meet friends.. nice relaxing holiday things.. but not gd for microb ca, which is like on the first day of sch!
ive still got many things i wanna do.. more ppl i wanna meet and catch up with.. its after all, the hols! but aiyo i shall not go out too much liao =/

alright, today i met up with jia, weixian, kefei today! =) hahaha omg! we went arcade! jia n i had fun! played some drum thing until our arms almost died! cos i anyhow went to choose the stages, n it was HARD! =/ n both of us didnt play tt game before.. omg! hahaha but we survived! ;p then we also played some cute mario game! ;p
after tt, we all were tired.. n kefei left.. so wx jia n i went to starbucks to sit down n talk nonsense =P

haha n sad to say, ive been spending too much money on myself =( no money left to spend on ppl! =/

this week, many many ppl are leaving (or have already left) for their holiday/camps! some ppl have already left liao! haha and so im quite friend-less =( boo.. im gonna miss everyone! haha esp claire who's only gonna be back like next yr!!!!! =/ aiyo! ;p haha take care everyone!

ive been entertaining myself! i think i can entertain quite well even tho everyone's away in another country, thousands of miles away ;p ive got many things to do, many things to buy, many things to study =/ so far, ive done many many things, except studying =/ HA!

2) Eragon (written by Christopher Paolini when he was only 15 yrs old!)
3) The Holiday (starring Jude Law and Cameron Diaz!)
4) Charlotte's Web (the pig, Wilbur, is soo damn cute!!)
5) Snow Cake (a picturehouse show.. its abit abt autism)
6) Curse of the Golden Flower (the costumes look sooo pretty!)
7) Confession of Pain (starring Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro!!)
and many more.. haha

oh anyway, ive watched The Nativity Story, and i think its just ok only! dunno why some ppl say its gd =/ pls tell me why.. i really am interested to know why.. i find tt its just a very normal show.. just err like tt lor! haha cos the story is just like in the Bible (which i suppose is gd la! haha).. Mary looks sweet, but tts abt it la.. i think some ppl feel like they've to watch it, cos they believe in Jesus Christ, and after all, its what Christmas is really all abt! aiyo =/ haha read the Bible can liao =) haha seriously.. the only nice thing abt the show is tt of the music and the 3 Wise Men (whom i thought brought a lighter tone to the otherwise heavy and slow movie).. apparently, it was very expensive to make this movie.. oh well =) i shall not write more, in case i invite more trouble for myself =/ i shall add tt i dont not believe in the Nativity Story =)
